Great point! I don't consider myself a bleeding heart liberal but I do consider myself an intelligent and caring human. I am also a democrat and I'm allowed to be.

Rightwing - wants no abortion.

Centrist - was perfectly fine with abortion in the first trimester.

Leftist - wants abortion on demand right up until the natural birth and wants the tax payer to spring for it, regardless of the Hyde Amendment.

Most leftists would tell you that the abortion is medical care and should be left up to doctors and their patients without interference from the government or morality police. And that the way to decrease abortion is by addressing people's material needs, ie. Better parental leave policies, more affordable healthcare and childcare, access to birth control and sex education, affordable food and housing, better jobs, better labor rights in general. You know, the hard things neither Republicans or Democrats seriously want to do anything about, lest they piss off their donors.

Anytime you want to separate the abortion providing part of Planned Parenthood from the parts that provide other services, tell the DNC.
