| How long have you been waiting to write that in the thread title? |

Not OP, but too long!!!! Have one ready for Allen? |
| It'll be interesting to see if ranked choice gets us someone practical. I love the optimism of the starry eyed progressives, but we just aren't in a place where we can move on a purely progressive, compassionate agenda. We need remedial gov't. |
Aloha would work well. |
| yeah i hated voting for jim graham for so many years and then couldn't believe how bad she was after him. Ward 1 deserves better |
| I thought we weren't getting ranked choice because councilmembers fear losing. |
The problem going with the hyper progressive agenda, at least for me, isn’t a lack of compassion, it’s practicality. If the policies were things that worked towards the goals a lot more of us might support because I share many of those hopes. The problem is with the ideas that wing thinks should work but then puts all of the affordable housing companies on the ropes towards bankruptcy or plays catch-and-release with car jackers. |
Officially, it's too confusing to the electorate. |

She read the writing on the wall.

| DCUM is far too Karen to support a truly progressive agenda. |
| Is she leaving town? Or running for higher office? |
Neither. Just moving on. |
