Just checked my kids' gradebooks.
11th grade= all classes have grades. ----- 5/7 classes were last updated within the past week. ----- 2/7 classes haven't been updated since early September. ----- 5/7 classes have a minimum of two summative grades recorded so far. 9th grade= all classes have grades. ----- 6/7 classes were last updated within the last 10 days. ----- 1 class hasn't been updated since early September. ----- 5/7 classes have a minimum of two summative grades recorded so far. 7th grade= 6/7 classes have grades. ----- all six of those classes have all been updated within the past week. ----- 1 class has no grades, but I know there hasn't been a teacher in that class during September. It's an art elective, so I'm not concerned about that class having no grades yet. It will happen eventually. ----- 4/7 classes have a minimum of two summative grades recorded so far. My kids teachers have all been very transparent about grading and are quick to update grades. |

My 8th grader at Carson has all of his classes up to date with grades entered for formative, homework, and summative assignments.
This question is asked a ton and the answer is always going to be teacher dependent. If you have a teacher not entering grades, you can ask your child to email them, you can then follow up, and then you can send it up the chain of command at the school. It might be that some schools do a better job of entering grades but I suspect that in many cases it comes down to the individual teacher. |

| Almost all are updated as of Friday. One big exception is AP World (discussed in a separate thread) where the SAQ grade is not posted yet, although the retake is tomorrow. |
