Humby Oganics shampoo and conditioner bars?

Anonymous
Saw an ad. The blueberry is for frizzy, gray, breaking "over 50" hair. Tempted but has anyone tried any of the Humby shampoo and conditioner bars? They are not cheap, about $50 a set including shipping. But I do not love any of the gray shampoos I use or have tried and somecatr in that price range.
Feedback? Or something you really like that leaves hair in good
shape?
Thanks.

I’ve been using Chagrin Valley shampoo bars for years now and I love them, but they won’t work well unless you have soft water. I use distilled water and the apple cider vinegar rinse they sell. My hair comes out soft and shiny.

OP here. Thanks how do you know if your water is soft?

I realized it when the shampoo bar left a horrific residue on my hair, LOL. I was about to throw them out when I emailed Chagrin Valley and they explained what to do.

OP here. I checked. Arlington has quite hard water. Thanks for alerting me, saved me $50!

$50? I’ve bought the blueberry set for $34 from their website. I’m 58 with thick curly hair and love it. I wash my hair 1-2 times a week. The conditioner bar is nice and leaves my hair feeling like seaweed when it’s rinsed out. I bought the bars in the spring and they are still going.

We use the peppermint one. No conditioner tho, don’t need it with the bars. They do last a long time and don’t seem to leave a residue.
