Where to Park for The Palm

Is there any parking nearby or should we just do valet? Going to the one on 19th NW.

There are garages on the block south of the restaurant. But I think valet might be worth it. It's a busy street that gets backed up.

Call the restaurant for suggestions and also to see if they do valet or validate any parking lots!

Here's what we do ... drive there and if you find a quick parking space, great. If not, valet.

if it's early evening, you might find a spot farther down 19th (below L) or on L Street between 20th and 19th. Also, 20th between Pennsylvania and L often has spots because there's not much on that block. Also, the garage by Sign of the Whale on L (between 20th and 19th) used to offer cheap after-hours parking till 10 or so. Otherwise, valet is probably worthwhile. there are lots on 19th but you'll probably pay within a couple dollars of what valet costs.

Um, I'm not sure what this whole rant is about. But I do agree with the bold. If you're going to the freaking Palm, just valet, for Christ's sake! You can't shake $7 when you're dropping $150+ on dinner?
