Girls MD HS Lacrosse Tryouts

On average, how many girls do girls club lacrosse teams in MD take in the 9th grade? M & D, MDU, Heroes and others all start before HS so my guess is they don't take many as they already have an established team by this point. Understanding is it's often invite only to try out for HS. Do coaches seeks girls out they'd like to tryout or do people reach out to coaches and ask if they are looking?

It's both. Coaches reach out to players and players reach out to coaches.
