Lifetime Beneficiary of Life Insurance Trust of $100k

I recently lost my mother. Her documents indicate that she was the lifetime beneficiary of a life insurance trust for her, myself and my sibling. My father died long before the date of these documents, so I assuming it was a trust with his life insurance proceeds. My mother's documents say it was worth $100k, but I can find anything else on it. I reached out to the bank they used, but haven't received a response.

Any thoughts on how I find this? I don't see any distributions to my mother in her bank statements and she never talked to me or my sibling about it. $100k is definitely worth searching for, but I am totally at a loss where to begin other than with a generic request to this big bank.
