Why do you delete anything Kate Middleton’s fans don’t like?

Anonymous
I know you can’t be bothered to read royals threads. But anything remotely critical of Kate Middleton gets reflexively reported, and reflexively deleted, and it’s laughable. Last night’s thread on conservative women and Kate Middleton was a case in point: it had actual figures on Kate and William’s terrible work ethic, pointed out that she told us a year ago in that syrupy video that she had finished chemo and was “cancer free,” and asked why Catherine and William continue to receive taxpayer money for doing little more than spending two days with Trump after coming off two-month vacation and renovating their fifth “forever home.”

It’s a valid argument to have, especially given the recent poll saying that barely half of Brits still respect the monarchy. This is an actual debate happening in Britain—my British relatives make these same arguments because they pay taxes to support Kate and William. Even the famously sycophantic British tabloids have started to rubbish Kate and William, which is a sight to behold.

There’s no reason to delete valid points just because they make some Disney princess lovers uncomfortable. MAGA posters drive me nuts but I don't reflexively report them to you (as long as they’re not objectively racist, misogynist, or violent).

I just can't take this topic seriously enough to read this entire message. Nobody should be this concerned about this topic.

So ignore the threads. The days of worrying about Kate's cancer are over--she told us a year ago she was "cancer free." Don't just delete any criticism because some Kate fan's feelings are hurt.

PS, this is a big debate in Britain. My many British relatives (London, Birmingham, Aberdeen and Glasgow) have educated me. So yes, some people are concerned and take the topic seriously.

You know we fought a whole war back in 1776 for the right to not care about this? Surely there are UK-based boards where you can go have this argument?

You do realize you're a man telling mostly women where they can, and can't, find escape from our terrible political environment? I'm not a big fan of football, but I don't ban the men in my life from talking about it.

Jeff, I really respect the work you do here. But it's not right to shut down debate because Kate's fans are butthurt.

Surely there’s a better place for escape than on a DC-based board whinging about the work schedule of a literal princess?

So why are you on the same DC-based board drooling over her latest wig? Please, I'm all ears.

I don't read threads about Taylor Swift. See how that works? If you're not interested, don't click. Just don't try to censor the discussion.

My lord, you are raging on and on about nothing. We know you were the one who started the thread, based off a comment you found witty in the other KM thread, and now YOU'RE the one that's butthurt that Jeff deleted your fun. If I didn't know any better, I'd think Kate Middleton personally stole Prince William out of your beautiful, loving arms. But, since we know you're just a single fatty spending hours railing against anything you think is right of Communism, that's a laughable thought.

PP did not drool over her latest wig. You were the first person to bring up the wig. You're insane.
