Literacy Assessments

| We are finishing up the third week of class in third grade our our DC's school. They have not started formal instruction on writing/literacy topics yet because they are still working through assessments. Is that an unusually long period of time? Feeling concerned that it looks like they are going to burn a month of so just getting off the ground. |

| Funny you say this. I asked my 8th grader what they are learning in science right now and she said nothing yet, they are still doing introduction stuff. School started Aug 25! |
