Parochial school question - subsidy by parish

How much in terms of percentage does your parish subsidize your parish school?

To clarify: if the actual cost of educating a student without the subsidy is $xx,xxx, what percentage does the parish offset to get to the tuition charged per student.

I ask as it seems some parishes are more generous with the subsidy than others.

If I remember correctly, it was around $1000 or so per student at our k-8 school. Around 400 students, so a lot of money in the aggregate.

The price varies significantly by family status: parishioner/catholic outside of parish/non-Catholic as well as number or children in your family that are enrolled so there’s not one set tuition you can go off of. Hence the percentage of the subsidy similarly varies year by year as student composition shifts
