Hangers

Looking for recommendations - I thought the slim velvet hangers would be what I'm looking for, but now I read that the velvet starts to flake off everywhere. Does anyone have any recommendations for hangers they personally love? Thanks!

We have had no such problem with our velvet hangers.

Same here. I have gotten them from several places over several years and all are still intact. Love them!

The velvet hangers don't flake but they do break if you look at them funny. And the thin profile lets me pack my clothes too close together (was a feature, now a bug).

Now I'm moving to bulkier wood hangers or to "sweater hangers" that avoid that shoulder bump in the fabric.
