This is a disgusting fraud against the people of DC by our own council:
Appears DC covered-up a 500% increase in theft, by fabricating the offense “taking property without consent,” and telling MPD to use that misleading label for theft offenses, so that theft offenses would not be reported to DOJ as theft offenses.
Mendelson and the rest of the council should resign in disgrace over what they have done to our city.
