EHN is definitely getting old, but R. White is not my favorite either. Interesting however that he is running for this, while Oye Owolewa (current shadow representative) is running for Anita Bonds' council seat. |

| Have to imagine the decision not to run as well / viability assessment has to do with some on the progressive left calling for Councilwoman Lewis George to run for mayor, including crowds at the Free DC rally the other week and unions pushing her to do so |

This is interesting.
This is a good indication that Bowser will run again in 2026 and that he doesn't think he could beat her. He had the best chance of probably any potential candidates to defeat Bowser and so it also dramatically increases the likelihood that Bowser will be mayor until 2030. |

The 2026 primary will be decided via RCV and he would have almost certainly got more votes than JLG if he ran. |

Bowser may run and win again but she will get recalled before 2030. Just because no one else can beat her doesn’t mean she’ll be able to stick around at the rate she’s going. She has pissed off too many people. |
