What's the best way to help my high school DC decide on a college major?

| What grade is your child in? Because if they have not been exposed to certain subjects, they might just be too young. My kid likes a major that does not have a lot of good employment prospects, but my approach has been to wait and see because most kids changes majors at least once, if not multiple times, while they are in college. |

They can apply as undecided in many places. You don't mention if they might be STEM or Humanities leaning, you give us very little information.
