Why are some posters so mean to others

I've posted this same question before because I was shocked the first time I read what I thought was just a mean, inconsiderate reply. All I can figure is that this is an anonymous board on a sensitive topic and some people just get pleasure from being mean. Try to ignore the haters because there is more than enough love on this board to go around.
