I live on a dividing line between HS pyramids. My neighbors on the other side of the line can walk to the same HS I can walk to, which is a good school. But their real estate purchase price reflects the other school, they or their older kids went there, they attend community events at that school. Moving them to my school would feel like a big upheaval and not worth the benefit of being able to walk.
WHO CARES!!?????
I mean, other people can be rezoned willy nilly, but some people who could walk to high school can't be rezoned because of real estate prices? Give me a break! Are real estate prices not a concern for other people. Cry me a river
