We decided we want to take a trip over Thanksgiving break internationally to take a break from...everything. We're hoping to fly non-stop and would have about 6/7 nights.
We're a bit stuck on where to go, but were leaning Europe. We're not opposed to cooler weather. Any recommendations? Portugal and Spain were top of our list, but we've also been hearing about the anti-tourism sentiment in Spain. Our kids are pretty adventurous, but love food and getting to walk around new places. |
What’s the anti tourism sentiment in Spain? Also planning a trip there soon…. |
I've read about the housing shortage, particularly in Barcelona, that has been exacerbated by the short term holiday rental market and so there have been protests and anti-tourism sentiment in more of the touristy places. |
Puerto Rico |
We have gone to PR for the past few years for Thanksgiving and it’s perfect. |
Scandinavia! Oslo and Stockholm would be great for a trip of that length. |
Second Scandinavia or maybe Germany/Austria for Christmas markets. |
