im just so done with my life

Anonymous

I just can’t take this.
The hits just keep coming.
I am literally someone who can have disasters happen to me, the worst things deaths etc. and I do not cry. I just can’t. I freeze and go mute.

But then it’s the little things that you’d think aren’t a big deal that make me burst out crying. And people around me don’t understand it.

Im signed up for a class that the teacher removed me from. I don’t show up to every class because they have said you don’t have to. I study more effectively at home.
Why even bother trying?
Do you think I can solve this if I speak to the teacher? Sometimes teachers are not there to help and want to make you miserable. 😞

You need to talk to the professor.
Does they syllabus say you needed to be in class physically? Did you turn in any assignments?

In this course there is only one big exam in October.
To me they have said that attending is not mandatory.
With this information what am I supposed to think. I’m passing every other class so it’s not like I am skipping or lazy.
But this teacher has such a difficult vibe I just can’t

Maybe it was an honest mistake. If you weren't there on a day when they mentally reviewed the class list, they may not remember you.

Ask to be put back. And actually attend

I went to almost every class in 6 years of higher education. Some of it was worthless. But in general it's necessary to be present.

Also...did you pay for the class? Then they should put you back.

Be polite.

It's definitely frustrating to have to jump through hoops to get through. However, once you do, you will feel better. Go speak to the teacher. It's important you go because you need to learn from the teacher and not just try to pass the test blind.

"they have said that attending is not mandatory."

Then you need to email the professor and ask why they dropped you from the class.

I'd send an email to address the issue and offer to meet in person to discuss more (if they actually want proof you are a human). Show up to 3 classes in a row at least to be more visible. How are you getting the info if you don't need what the teacher is teaching?

Does it matter why the person is on a mom forum? Maybe they are a mom and also taking higher education classes?

Anyway this is off topic so the OP is allowed to post.

Look Op just go to talk to the professor and ask why you were removed from the class. Explain that you really want/ need to be in the class and ask what you can do to make things better.

Who is "they"? Clearly, the teacher expects you to attend every class in person.
