Will your DC send first quarter grades to schools even if not required?

| My DC was planning to, but with one of her APs currently a B, she is having second thoughts. Is there any downside to not sending first quarter grades if you currently have a 3.9 UW GPA? None of her schools require the 1st Q grades. |

| I think it's generally wise to follow what the schools say they want. Don't send extra grades, extra recs, extra letters, etc. |

| Other than the selective schools (let's call it T50), do any schools REQUIRE you send first quarter grades if you apply ED? |
