Feeling super bloated…

That’s basically it. Lots of bloating, but not feeling gassy or having cramping. No real changes in bowel or urination habits.

But enough bloating feeling that it feels like even my underwear are tight and I am having a sensation of something going on in my lower abdomen. I’ve had this for a few days. Maybe a week. And it’s not resolving. Has anyone else experienced this? What resolved it?

Yes! I’m 50 and it’s happened about 3 times in the last year or year and a half. It’s so bad I don’t really want to eat anything. I wish I had some advice to resolve it, but only time worked for me (3-4 days?), and eating better. I also started prempro which helped all peri symptoms.

Yes. I’m 52 and fully in menopause for over a year, and still experiencing this with no clear understanding of why. I get so bloated my underwear and pants will be too tight for a few days or so. And then one day, I wake up, it is all gone, and I’m back to needing a belt. Hugely uncomfortable. I never know what to expect.

Do you keep a food journal? Something is bothering your digestive track and it’s probably a food group.

I found that I can no longer handle dairy. I was getting so bloated and gassy and (TMI) diarrhea every bowel movement. I agree with the others. Keep a food journal.
