I’m not sure why I’m hesitant to purchase a coach bag at my age but are they for a younger age?
I did see they are amidst a huge comeback https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2025/06/25/coach-comeback-retail.html |
Buy what makes you happy, OP. Truly. Half your life is behind you. Make the rest count. |
The core bags are still classic shapes, styles, and colors. The Coachtopia line is clearly marketed to younger women, which does not mean that you can't pull one off if you want something that's more fun and casual. |
Love 💕 Coach. No age group owns them. Come on. |
Buy a vintage one. The styles are more classic and they're better made.

40s isn't old.
Originally Coach was more for 30s-50s. The expensive briefcase owning set. Too expensive for<25. So, I can't see anyone thinking your purse is too young for you. Just don't buy a laughable bag charm. |
The leather ones with the brass turnlocks that were made in the USA are great purses. I remember that there used to be a sample sale in Florida where their factory was and you could get great deals on them. |
Back in their original days, Coach was a quiet luxury brand. |
The Coach Brooklyn is very popular right now. |
I think the modern version of Coach is a very well-run brand that appeals to a lot of different age groups and price ranges. Coachtopia bags appeal to a much different age group than the Rogue. |
