How do your DCPS schools typically communicate iReady results home? Do you get them at parent-teacher conferences or are they posted somewhere? This is our first year and was just curious where we’ll find them. |
It has varied a bit by teacher but usually yes, we get them at parent teacher conferences. There are sometimes other assessments as well (DIBELS or like in first they do a dyslexia screening). Generally they give us copies of everything but sometimes we have to request them.
Report cards will also list assessment scores. |
As a DCPS teacher, I send the reports home the week after students complete them. In September, January and June. I want the parents to be informed. I do not wait until conferences, which are in a month's time. |
You can also find the overall iReady score by logging in as your kid under completed work. |
