If you had a teen daughter with PCOS, what did you do? Did she need a GYN, or did the pediatrician handle it? Were there any lifestyle or other medication alternatives to going on the pill? This is new to me… I am worried for my daughter. |
How did you determine?
There are a lot of wholistic/dietary things she can do. I think maybe Reddit forums? I wasn’t diagnosed till 30s and wasn’t given much help other than a focus on TTC. If you could find a helpful endocrinologist? I don’t know how early they might try metformin or a glp-1 med. but exercise, good diet and try Reddit or other online forums. |
