| We are not DCUM rich, but we can drive or fly as long as flights are cheap ($200/person max) because there are four of us. Two preteen girls and two parents. |

Tucson or Phoenix! Desert Museum and Saguaro National Monument in Tucson are both pretty spectacular.
Nice hotels/resorts there too the the weather will be really nice. |

I love to go to Shenandoah in the fall but it depends on your dates and the weather.
There are a lot of B&Bs and air BnBs on the near side in Sperryville, etc. Hiking, hit some wineries, go across to do caves maybe. |
