Where can we go for three days in the late fall?

We are not DCUM rich, but we can drive or fly as long as flights are cheap ($200/person max) because there are four of us. Two preteen girls and two parents.

Plug in dates to google flights. You never know where you’ll find cheap flights. Be prepared to book immediately if you find cheap flights.

Do you have any preferences or interests?

How long would you drive?

Boston is usually doable for that sum.

Sorry just coming back - we're willing to drive 4 hours.

Tucson or Phoenix! Desert Museum and Saguaro National Monument in Tucson are both pretty spectacular.

Nice hotels/resorts there too the the weather will be really nice.

I love to go to Shenandoah in the fall but it depends on your dates and the weather.

There are a lot of B&Bs and air BnBs on the near side in Sperryville, etc. Hiking, hit some wineries, go across to do caves maybe.

Don’t fly. Drive to Primland. So nice and so much fun.

The Homestead is fun in the fall.
