Sitcoms with kids

What are some sitcoms I can watch with my 9 year old daughter? I hate little kid shows but don’t want her to be exposed to sex or violence etc.

In a few years, Gilmore Girls. My daughter and I spent a summer binging all of the seasons, but she was about 13 at the time.

When my kids were that age, we watched a lot of the old reruns - Gilligan’s Island, The Monkees, Bewitched, I Love Lucy, The Carol Burnett Show, MASH, Mork & Mindy, etc.

Of course, every family needs to use their own judgement for appropriateness, so I encourage you to check Common Sense Media and/or IMDB Parents Guide for specific concerns.

my name is earl is sweet, but she probably needs a couple of years. Simpsons?

My kids think the office is funny but probably too adult for a 9 year old? My kids are 11 and 13.

My kids also like Malcom in the Middle, but I don't.

anything from the 80s or 90s - so many family sitcoms!

My children have sat and watched friends and golden girls with me so many times. I honestly think the sex stuff goes right by them.

I used to watch night court and taxi as a kid. Again, I think the sexual stuff just went over my head.

Not sitcoms, but if you can find old reruns of Little House or The Waltons, she might like those. I miss those shows.
