| Have you known anyone who ever had issues with booking rooms outside of the official travel site? there is nowhere on the list available near the actual park the games are at. More like 20 miles away. do they add more rooms/options ? |

| Its aggravating AF. If they are going to make you book through them, they need to have hotels near the actual games. |

| I think sometimes teams book too many rooms so whatever day the unbooked rooms release, some will open up. I would call and ask them to get more rooms, or find out when the day is that some will release. |

| I have an ECNL HS junior and have been doing this a long time. I’ve never seen stay to play truly enforced. I see people who book outside of it all the time without consequences. |

I think there is a minimum number that must be booked but not sure what it is. I think they usually hit the minimum so not an issue. |

There’s also the fun of having to order a new credit card afterwards when the stupid company that has a monopoly on it lets its employees presumably compromise the cards.
Two tourneys in a row, multiple families, 3-5 days after…. God forbid Glen Allen or Brandywine not be able to glom off 2 nights for their Hampton Inn. |

| We followed the rules a few years. But then booked with points etc somewhere else and it was just fine. For years we and several other families just booked where we wanted. Never an issue. |
