Russian Deones Shot Down by Poland, NATO. What’s next?

At least 19 drones flew into Polish airspace. What are the chances the EU will now actively engage in the war (vs providing weapons etc)?

Ugh. Who gets excited about war? Especially someone who hasn’t served in the military.

But the 800,000 Polish Americans in Pennsylvania knew this was a grave possibility and voted for this buffoon. Well, at least a significant number of them voted for this buffoonery as POTUS.

They’re been here for so long it’s unlikely they care about the home country.

I am old enough to remember that if he had been president, Trump never would have allowed the war in Ukraine to start. I guess he meant by that, that he would have rolled out the red carpet in Kyiv for Putin. Because his non-response for what happened in Poland suggests the US will not get involved in any Article V proceedings.

This articles talks about how Putin has been saving cash from oil money for decades in preparation for this war campaign.

He is spending mad money paying troops life changing bonuses, and the economy is humming from high soldier pay and war economy.

When the war stops and soldiers go back to digging ditches, he risks economic crisis and political crisis.

The obvious solution is endless war, ie next stop Poland.

Maybe, but plenty of us around the country are still connected.

Endless war to boost the economy seems about right.

Yes. Putin was not threatened by Trump because Trump wanted to weaken NATO. Putin has always been threatened by NATO. He is testing out NATO's (and Trump's) response.

Trump's "here we go" meaning nothing. He will never really hit Putin where it hurts. He's full of hot air.

Russia thought they could beat Ukraine in a week but Poland can take out Russia in a week. Putin is playing a dangerous game.
