Old Town Restaurants

I have a really good friend coming to visit this weekend. I am thinking about Old Town early Saturday afternoon for lunch. Any favorites? I am considering Columbia Firehouse and Vermillion! Thanks! We both like ALL types of food!

I love Vermillion. Haven't been to Columbia Firehouse, but hear good thing about that. Perhaps consider Majestic Cafe or the Grill at Morrison House.

Majestic is very fun. It's the same people that run Restaurant Eve, Eammon's, and the speak-easy place above Eammon's. On Sunday afternoons they do Grandma's Dinner (or something like that) where it's a set menu served family style. If you're interested in that, I'd call ahead to see what the menu is. It's also meant for 4 people and there's one price, so if it's just two of you, it might not be a good option unless you want leftovers.

I would second Columbia Firehouse. And it's very child friendly.

Bastille - a little off the beaten track but great French bistro food
