Muffins = To die for
Bagels = Blasphemy. Nothing more than doctored up Safeway “bagels” (aka, roind white bread) |
The maple black pepper bagels are delightful when toasted (admittedly not so delightful fresh). |
The bagels are average at best. Better than Safeway but not better than Wegmans.
The cream cheese flavors and the price are the only things extraordinary. |
Jewish DW likes their babka muffin which isn't why we went there.
She says the bagels are so-so. Personally, the bagel was fine, but I wouldn't drive into Old Town for it. |
Turkey sandwich is awesome!

Bagels are terrible. We have gotten their brisket meal which was shockingly good. Bethesda bagels are the best in the area, hands down. |
I tend to agree on the bagels, but I think the rest of the food (particularly the lunch sandwiches) are decently priced and pretty good. |
Tried once, nuff said. |
Why not more love for Goldberg's Bagels? I wandered in once and was astonished at how good they were. |
Probably because they're closed on the #1 most popular bagel day. I get that they're a Jewish bagel shop and they keep the sabbath, which is absolutely their right and of course a sign of authenticity but unless you live very close not many people are going to make a drive just to get bagels on a school/work day so a bagel shop that's really only relevant one day a week is naturally not going to get the same "love" as more accessible and convenient places. |
The name is the best thing. |
they're over rated to the max |
I gave them two chances. 😩😩 |
I thought the bagels were okay, but I really don't like their latkes. |
Their bagels give me indigestion! I thought I was the only one who didn't like them. Yuck. |
