Federal BCBS and Wegovy coverage

| Does BCBS standard cover Wegovy at reasonable co-pay for obesity? I get Ozempic for diabetes, and that’s a $25 co-pay but DH was interested in Wegovy and his doctor said he might have to pay $500 per month. I tried reading online but it seems confusing. |

| Yes. It's $500/month unless they do a tier exception. Anyone gotten one? |

| They will cover if Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related comorbidity (high cholesterol or something). Print a prior authorization form and take it to doctor. |
