I think this is a great option BUT very unfair that only some HSs in the same school district are offered this opportunity. So one FCPS HS has this available to them and a 10 min drive away, another does not. I think VCU may do the same.

I believe only in-state HSs with visibly higher rate of FARMS qualify for GMU direct admission.

I believe Falls Church HS is one. Woodson, Oakton, James Madison, etc. are not.

Yes, but why? I can understand offering free app code to low income students. I cannot understand a whole school having automatic acceptances. There are many, many high income kids at these same schools - so why the universal offer to all there when there are plenty of low income kids at other schools, without this perquisite?

My kids got Iowa State back in two days. We wanted him to have an early acceptance, and it worked.
