| He's now controlled by Russia. |
|
I don’t know. I’ll add that I’m part of an industry legal group that hosted Snowden (by feed) and they are also very very quiet
Kinda sad |
| I think he's hoping to be pardoned. |
|
Snowden is a Russian agent. Everything he did was for Putin. Liberals lapped it up. He was put on a pedestal by leftists pining for a savior. The same leftists mocked Palin for talking about her concerns over Russia. And now the Democratic Party embraces Russia interference. |
He always was controlled. When Russia protected him from US legal recourse I knew he was a Russian agent. |
This liberal hopes he has been conscripted and stationed at the front. Putin needs warm bodies for his war. |
| He's reaping the reward for treason. |
Liberals, me included, did not approve of Snowden. Leftists definitely did. We’re not the same and that’s one of the differences. |
US style "liberals" love authoritarian controls. |
| Eh, I'm a liberal and always thought Snowden was a tool. Who has been paying attention to him? The right wing. |
He exposed treason. |
Only if you want to make the law apply to you only when it's convenient. |
| Seeking a pardon. |
Matt Gaetz and Thomas Massie, you know those right wing politicians supported Snowden and called him a whistleblower. Barak Obama that left wing politician said Snowden was not a patriot and should be tried accordingly. The leader of Maga had to be talked out of pardoning Snowden in 2020. Pompei and Barr talked Trump in his last days of 2020, not to pardon Snowden. There is no one to talk this far-right POTUS out of it this time. The fact of the matter is that Snowden is not a cut and dry party line issue. Many people on both sides of the political ticket think he was a whistleblower/patriot and should have been pardoned. There are an equal amount on both ends of the political spectrum who think he was a traitor that put American intelligence at risk. |
