Can anyone provide feedback on how the student body leans, liberal or conservative or a mix?

Liberal, but no crazies. Very solid school.

Great school, typical kids, fairly heavy international population. Everyone can find their people without issue.

Mix. Local area outside City of Rochester leans conservative.

False. Neighboring suburb Brighton is very progressive with a large presence in the area. Hosted a big No Kings rally and others, too.

Though some west-side suburbs may lean more conservative, they don’t affect U of R.

+1

While Western NY is certainly redder than Brooklyn, farmland communities aren't sending a lot of kids to the U of R. And Western NY also contains places like Geneseo and Ithaca that are blue.

The U of R is not Wesleyan, but it's not Liberty either.

Serious school, but free of quack conservatives, plenty liberal.
