Need best tips for finding school clothes this time of year

We had a last minute move and enrolled late, now scrambling for uniform-compliant clothes. School is pretty lax about the uniform but want kids to feel like they fit in. Need items in blue or green (preference for bright solids based on what other kids are wearing) tops and bottoms and khaki bottoms. I'm combing websites today but everything is crazy picked over, may just go hit Target or Walmart or something tonight and see if there is anything (or should I bother? it doesn't seem like there is much online at all so I'm guess stores are pretty barren too).

I am making do with what we have this week but hoping to get some better stuff by next week. Especially hoping to find some cute things for DD (9, 4th grade) as I feel like this is the age where that matters. If you have any ideas please let me know! I also posted to my neighborhood list serve and some kind PTA person said they'd check the lost and found stash for me, but I want to give my kids the confidence of new clothes as well!

No idea where you are - but J Crew (the one on Rockville Pike, might be a factory store) had school uniform like pants/shirts. Lands End would probably have them as well (same
complex).

OP here. Actually trying to avoid polos. Kids are getting by with navy polos I found last minute on Sunday and some solid, dark colored bottoms. But looks like most kids were tees in much brighter colors, with coordinating bottoms (so like bright blue t-shirt and Kelly green shorts, or a green top with ruffle sleeves with green tutu skirt, that kind of thing). Someone on my neighborhood list serve suggested Primary and I'm trying to put together an order but they are understandably out of stock in a lot of sizes and colors because most people did their BTS shopping weeks ago. Ugh.

I made need to just scrounge through this first month and hope places restock in the next couple weeks.

Look at Children's place, Lands end, and LL Bean.
