Modernizing PowerPoint slides

| I have been out of academia for awhile and I am teaching a couple courses again this fall. I was looking at my old slides and they look very dated. I feel with AI and the way tech advances, there are probably more modern ways to create slide decks. Does anyone have a recommendation for tools or apps or ways to create more modern slides? |

| Do not ask AI to modernize your slide decks, they are horrible with graphics. Instead, buy yourself some templates. Just google "PowerPoint templates" and you will find a ton of companies that offer this. |

| I use https://sli.dev/ . I like it because you can use markdown, which is easy and just a little bit of text, but you can also use custom HTML and JavaScript. I use Claude Code with it, but the nice thing is the UI lets you manually edit it as well, for instance, to tweak text or embed different images. |
