Hi,
Looking for GF options in a town where there are tons of great Asian restaurants. I know that lots of ingredients are naturally GF. Cross contamination is less an issue than just avoiding wheat. I am hoping to find a GF agedashi tofu specifically and maybe a noodle bowl/soup that contains rice noodles. FWIW, I am familiar with most of the establishments. For ex, I know that Yuan Fu has GF menu but there are no noodle dishes available. Does anyone have knowledge of specific restaurants and dishes? |
| Raku both in Bethesda and Cathedral Heights has the option of shiratake noodles in their soups. Q by peter chang has rice noodle dishes and I think would accomodate you with gluten free soy sauce based sauces. |

I’m a huge hot pot fan. It’s not really a bowl of noodle soup, but it’s not really far off either?
All of them will have tons of gluten free noodle options like pho noodles, bean thread, shiritake etc. And you have complete control over the sauce and the individual ingredients so it’s worth considering. |
| Kiin Imm Thai and sister restaurant Eat a Lao have gluten free noodle dishes. They are great for gluten free and other dietary needs! |
| Thai food doesn’t use as much soy sauce |
