| What is it with media day hype.. it’s all over IG |
| Kids seem to enjoy it. I like it for them. |
| There is this thing called social media that's pretty popular these days. Ask your kids. |
Ignore it. All of these parents allowing their kids on IG will be dealing with anxiety ridden teenagers and young adults. Tech lobbyist who works for these companies does not allow his kids near this stuff so I follow him lead and his research. |
| It is awesome of you are on the top team. Not so much if you aren’t. |
Do they only do it for top teams |
Yes. |
| Yet another excuse to rob you clean of more cash |
| Ours has a cost! This is not rec, not doing it! Can take a pic with my phone. |
tippity top teams indeed |
Tell me your kid doesn't make it to the top team and have a media day without telling me. |
Tell me my kid is on a top team and wanted by EVERY team in the area that has seen them. Tell me that you know nothing about football development by worshipping media days and social media. Tell me you wear Jefferson Cup and Supercopa patches on your ECNL leather sleeves varsity jacket. #mykidpeakedat12 😂 #mykidwasaproblematU13 😂 🤡 |
| Someone sure is triggered by teenagers having their picture taken. I can see why, it is fun for them, and you couldn’t have that. What a weird line to draw in the sand. Plus, parenting advise to children you don’t know… Very weird. |
What an idiotic thing to say. It’s the social media posting and not the actual photo taking that is the issue. And parenting advice to stay off social media sounds pretty sound to me. |
| I have a 17 yr old, 15 and 13 yr old who all just did media day. Which ones can I allow to post to social media? All? None? Just the 17 year old? What is your expert opinion? Where is the line drawn before you stop judging me as a parent? |
