What medium nice DC restaurant could use some support amidst the occupation?

Anonymous
Looking for a medium nice option for a special occasion date night this weekend, in DC proper. I know with the federal takeover and ICE nonsense, restaurants have been hurting so if possible I'd like to direct my business somewhere that could use it. Any favorites that we should show some love?

You're hilarious OP. Be sure to wear a sign so that everyone knows how noble you're being.

Sure, edgelord. But where should I wear my sign to? You forgot to make a suggestion.

I like Sababa, Supra, Menomale, Capa Tosta and Lapis. I think they all count as medium nice.

Not sure what you consider medium nice, but Chicatana could use support. They’re not just dealing with all that’s going on, but are also in a temporary location after a kitchen fire.

OP here. Medium nice meaning sit-down, pleasant atmosphere, interesting food, but not like mega fine dining/ expensive steak house places.

All the restaurants have been full this week? I was just at a lunch at Old Ebbits yesterday and it was packed. And Boucherie was filled Wed evening too.

You don’t need a sign to show us that you’re a bootlicker.

Not my job to keep them in business. If they are struggling it's usually for a good reason around here.
