We will be relocating from Tx to Baltimore next Summer and will look for a field hockey for DD to join then. She will be playing 12U then and so far she has been playing for two years. Field hockey is DD’s main sport - she also plays softball and swims.
I heard about Warhawks which seems a great club (especially according to some posts on this forum), but I appreciate if I can get more more sharing ( good and bad please) If we live in Howard county, will there be any other club to see? Or Warhawks is the best option locationwise. What about living in Baltimore county? If you know there are other forum and source about field hockey in Baltimore that I should go to please let me know. I understand this might not be the most informative place to search what I need but this at this moment is the only one that I know of. Thx! |

I think Alpha is up that direction. I find their head coach a little loud for my taste but they have some solidly skilled players. I sense Freedom plays at more than one location so it may be worth looking into.
Realistically I see a lot of families driving to play for their club of choice so I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see girls from your area playing with Next Level or Wolves. |

Thanks! this is very helpful!
per your observation, which club from that area has more solid players?

| It seems to me if Warhawks is closest and you can get a spot on the team, that is where I would go. |
Are you coming from TX Pride or Lonestar & at what level of intensity? Warhawks is probably easiest logistics & they are a strong club. A friend in Baltimore has a daughter at H2O & is thriving. It all comes down to appetite to drive & where you feel most comfortable. |
| Decide which of the clubs you are willing to drive to and then ask your current club director which they think is the best fit for your daughter. |
