"They" weren't all laughing about it -- the plant reporter who is Trump's stooge,the one who made the rude schoolyard bully comments in the first place, laughed about it. Zelensky had no choice to play along.

If we're no longer backing Ukraine -- and obviously we're not -- and if we are selling them arms instead of giving them to Ukraine, why does he even have to bother with Trump as a middle man?

I am watching the press conference and it sounds like it is going well. It feels positive and I hope for peace and to stop the deaths.

I don't care how Zelenskyy is dressed, but I see his suit as a signal that he wishes to proceed with a path to peace. Maybe not! Who knows.

I'm listening on C-SPAN to the post-meeting comments on today's meeting with European leaders and Zelensky. He is having all the leaders go around and do the usual Dear Leader thank yous and mandatory praise like he does during cabinet meetings. At this point, if their efforts stop the bloodshed in Ukraine, I'd support them kissing Trump's feet publicly if they have to to get it done.
