Chunky watery salsa: why????

Salsa is ideally smooth and zingy. Wtf with the waterlogged stewed tomatoes and chunky peppers and onions that look like lost toenails. Just no.

I like that kind. There are lots of different kinds of salsas. I like all of them.

There are different styles of salsa. The style you want is actually what you are describing--stewed tomatoes, etc.--except it's run through a food processor.

I like fresh pico de gallo style (but not too many onions) as well as smoother styles. It's all good!
