Do you collect any specific publisher, genre, author, etc?

Curious if any of you are book collectors in any way?

I have several publishers whose books I really enjoy owning. Some I buy second hand, some on sale, some come as gifts.

Have just discovered Persephone!

Want to collect all the titles published before they changed all the covers to plain boring gray though.

I picked up my first one at a library book sale for $1.

I love the gray covers! I have about 50 on my shelf and I love how they look. I bought them through ebay as a lot. They are really expensive to buy from Persephone directly because of shipping to the US.

I have always enjoyed reading ➕ collecting V.C. Andrew’s books 📚.

I used to collect John D MacDonald, had every book.
Also Ellis Peters, Margaret Yorke. Had thousands of dollars of art books, mostly Japanese art.
Gave the JDM collection to a fan club. Donated the rest to Friends of the Library for book sales.
I do collect some series on Kindle now. Mostly medieval mysteries.

I'm not a collector but I buy every book written by anyone in my high school class, whether or not we were friends.
