I wouldn’t assume that because you haven’t seen it yet that it doesn’t exist. I mean, Trump’s sad birthday parade was a fantastic example of malicious compliance.

The troops see leadership that values personal loyalty over competence or loyalty to country. They see what’s being done to the VA. They see what this administration thinks of its warriors after they’re no longer useful to them.

They see a regime cooperating with the enemy.

Well part of the problem is that there is a huge White Nationalism problem in the US military. I don’t think that it’s discussed, but the non-white and non-WN folks likely don’t want to stir the pot. However, >40% of the military is non-white, and not all whites are white nationalist. It will have to get worse before we see breaks in the ranks.
