Italian turkey meatballs

I am looking for a turkey meatball recipe that I can make in large batches that is actually good. I have not had great luck with homemade turkey meatballs. My kids love the super processed ones from the freezer section but I’d love to get away from that.

Italians don’t cook with turkey.

The key to flavorful turkey meatballs is to food process an onion or two and add that to the meat. For italian and more moistness, try wrapping each around a cube of mozzarella.

I would also add bacon.
