Are Bluebook practice tests online pretty accurate predictor of future real SAT scores?

Blue book practices # 5-7

And does high SAT practice score (1550) typically translate to a high enough PSAT score for NMSF? This is a rising junior taking the PSAT in the fall

The scoring on the digital test is too inconsistent, such that at the ceiling, SAT is not necessarily predictive of PSAT.

Example, my kid got 1570 on the August SAT and then 1440 on the PSAT. However, he did no additional prep for PSAT, so there's that. Did not get NMSF, unlike older sibling.

OP: thanks. What would be good prep for PSAT?

Mine practice 1520-1540. Higher in real test, 50 point higher. I think the hyper focus environment in the real test helped.

SAT prep doubles as PSAT prep. Suggest doing some refreshing right before the PSAT. That's what my kid did not do, but older sibling did. Any online practice test.
