| Well, the thread title says it all. I finally watched Six Feet Under. And I am of an age when I could've watched it when it was on TV, but for whatever reason did not. I have to agree with everyone else that the ending was one of the best I've ever seen. |
| That show is SO GOOD, the finale is moving, and, for me, I have watched it a few times (about once a decade since it aired), and I relate to it and the characters in new ways each time just due to where I am in life. Such a powerful piece of art! |
Op here. Yes, I can relate to most of the characters in different ways as well. Everyone is so flawed. |
| Truly amazing show - I met Peter Krause (Nate Fisher) during the height of popularity of the show and he was the nicest person ever. |
| NARM! |
So cool! |
| Loved this show |
| Op here. So I was thinking about the ending again today. No surprise. And what I found so powerful is as I was watching the characters life unfold and end I couldn't help but think about how many years do I have left? What will I do with these remaining years? Again I just found the ending very cool and made me think such that. I'm still thinking about it today. |
| Op I’m with you. I binged the show last winter when I was in bed for about a week with pneumonia and I was blown away. Best tv show I’ve ever seen. I’m surprised it’s not talked about more. |
| What platform are you all watching this on? I remember when it was on initially and was always curious about it. |
It is on Netflix |
Also HBO Max. I’m trying to get my husband to watch it with me. I watched it when the show initially came out and it really stays with you. I agree the ending is perfection. |
|
This thread spurred me to start watching it. I never have before and was surprised it first aired way back in 2001. It seems very well done in the episode and a half I’ve watched so far.
Peter Krause is so young in it! |
| Once you’ve seen the series finale from Six Feet Under it’s hard for any other series finale to compare. |
This show’s glaring and irreparable flaw is that it severely lacked diversity. |
