| Anything is appreciated. Where to stay, where to eat, etc. What was your experience like there? Would you return? Dive company recs too! |
| If you are going to dive, I would recommend going and asking on Scubaboard.com |
| Just returned from Bonaire. We dove with VIP Diving and East Coast Diving, both top notch operations. Book well in advance. Bonaire is mainly shore diving, so be prepared to walk some ways wearing your tank. We stayed in a Bel Air apartment which was lovely. Favorite restaurants are Foodies - don't miss Tuna night on Saturdays, and La Cantina. Don't miss night snorkeling. National Park is lovely, but it's going to take far longer than you expect so build in lots of time. Also bring food as there are no facilities. |
| Worth it to go if just snorkeling? |

I stayed at Delfin’s and really liked it. There’s little villas are nice for a family. Everyone can spread out, there’s a little private plunge pool, and you have a kitchen. But you also have restaurants and a big pool and gym at the resort. There is a Dive Shop on the resort and you can refill your tanks and drive up and down the coast and pick various dive sites for great shore dives. Alice in Wonderland is down the road from Delfin’s and is a nice easy dive. Salt Pier is just a tiny bit further.
Bonaire is clean, safe, and easy. English is widely spoken. If you don’t snorkel or dive, there isn’t much else to do, but it’s great for divers, especially if you get seasick on boats. Our friends stayed at Buddy Dive and liked it. The house reef at Buddy Dive is much nicer than the one at Delfin’s. |

Oh, and this is a great book to have handy if you’re up for exploring shore dives on your own:
https://a.co/d/4xLtGTr Klein Bonaire is worth a visit. |
| Please excuse my horrific grammar. I meant to say “there are little villas” at Delfin’s. |

We are snorkel freaks. Only snorkel. Bonaire is great, especially all the dires available by boat over at Klein Bonaire.
It was a while ago but we stayed at Harbour Village. Close by was a dive place that ran boats over to Klein Bonaire several, times a day. Great spots shallow. Now it may be water taxis. Agree ask on ScubaBoard. |
