Help me find slim jeans that look great with sneakers

I’m really struggling to find jeans. I’m looking for not stretchy jeans that look great with sneakers. I don’t want true skinny jeans, but I feel like straight jeans with sneakers sit wrong on top of the sneakers- when I find ones that hit at the ankle, they’re still too wide and look oddly cropped, or they’re too long and look frumpy. I don’t like a ton of stretch in jeans - I like them more rigid. Have you found this in any brand recently??

Good old fashioned Levi's? They un in short, regular and long lengths.

Someone in another thread recommended the Quince Luna jeans and I ordered a pair. They are straight cut with the slightest kick at the bottom. They have some give, but are also very sturdy/structured. I think they’ll look great with sneakers.

If you like ankle and don't mind spending $140-200 per pair- the AG Brinley and ex-boyfriend styles both look good with sneakers.
