Hornet nest

Anonymous
I discovered a huge (globe sized+) bald faced hornet nest attached to the back of our covered porch and in the bushes abutting it. It is in our backyard and the hornets are swarming constantly in a pattern that goes directly over my veggie garden and to the woods behind the fence. I need to harvest cukes and green beans but I am terrified as I read the my recognize faces and also are highly aggressive and can sting repeatedly and swarm. The pest removal company is coming tomorrow to remove the nest but they will disperse and look for a new home. Is it still dangerous to be in my yard? And for how long? I have got to tend to my vegetables! Thanks!

Your yard belongs to the Hornets now.

We had this happen recently. Pest control service said to avoid the yard for several days after treatment, because they're pissed off.
