Did any of you feel anything? In NJ 8-10 miles west of Central Park.

The one in 2024 was bigger 4.something.
This one was smaller 3.something

NJ resident here. I definitely heard and felt something around 10:15 last night.

There is a proven correlation between rainfall and earthquakes. This year has been insanely rainy because of climate change. We can expect more earthquakes as climate change causes more droughts and heavier rainfall.

Seismologist here. The correlation between rainfall and earthquakes is not proven - just possible.

If only earthquakes can occur to physically separate certain states, ahem, red states, from the rest of the country? Everything south of the 2011 central VA earthquake epicenter can be 'South US'. They can hold different elections, electorate, president etc..
